When we got back from vacation, hubby decided he was going to be the Energizer Bunny and cleaned out & moved the buffet that we were using as an island in the kitchen into the living room. We had been talking about it for a while but I just didn’t feel like finding places for the stuff that was in it.
When I saw it in the living room, I immediately lit up and thought, “I could create little holiday vignettes!” and to work I went. I moved the apothecary jars from our sofa table over to the buffet and filled them with fall fillers, I replaced the candles with pumpkins and last night, I whipped up this little banner that says, “Give Thanks”. I would still like to add a couple of things but overall, I’m pretty happy with the way it looks.

Love the garland! I think I will do that for Christmas. I just picked up a huge book of Christmas scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby (for cheap) and it will be perfect for that! Great blog. I just became a follower and I'm going to add you to my blogroll. :)
