{Choo Choo!}

You know, it’s kind of funny that I have 2 girls and yet I keep pumping out all of these boyish printables. I think my nephew may have something to do with giving me the inspiration for the boy collections as I started many of these things before the girls were born.

I loved this vintage train image and immediately came up with the idea to make the invitation look like a ticket.

I’m working on coordinating party printables to go along with the invitation. I hope to have them in the shop soon!

{More Customs & New Products}

I love a good challenge…especially a creative challenge. So, when someone asks me to design something from scratch, I always immediately say ‘YES!’

Here are a couple of customs I’ve done…

This first one is a birthday invitation for my niece. She is obsessed with Super Mario right now so my sister requested a ‘Girly’ looking Super Mario invitation. I have to say, I struggled a little with this one…how do you make Mario girly?? I am pretty happy with the final product though.

I was recently asked to design some party circles for a Sprinkle. I had never heard of a Sprinkle before (it’s basically a baby shower for someone who already has children) but was ready to dig in and design these favor tags.

I have some new items in the shop. If you didn’t already know, I can design just about any party printable you need even if it’s not yet in the shop. I’ve recently added an invitation, straw flags and will soon be adding some cupcake wrappers!

Grass Wreath Tutorial

Hello? Anyone still out there?

Honestly, I can’t believe I still have followers. I’ve been such a slacker on this blog. Since the girls were born I haven’t had much time to be creative. If you read my last post, you saw that I’ve been pinning a bunch of stuff that I’d like to do but just haven’t had the time.

I did, however, make a spring/Easter wreath that was Pinspired by THIS pin.
Spring-Wreath

Materials I bought:
Styrofoam wreath
Lime green “fur” (found in the yarn section)
Colored straight pins

Materials I already had:
Prima paper flowers
Embroidery floss (twine would also be very cute!)
Welcome feet printable banner (You can get this HERE)

To assemble:

  • Wrap fur around wreath until it is completely covered. You may have to go around twice to fill in gaps
  • Place flowers randomly around wreath and attach with colored straight pins
  • Cut out flags for banner, run them through a sticker maker and attach to floss or twine (you can also use glue).
  • Position banner across wreath and attach to wreath by tying them onto pins behind flowers (I think I might had tied a double not in the floss and then just stuck the pin through the knot).
  • Attach colorful ribbon for hanging.

I’m not very good with instructions…I often just make things up as I go, so if you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Happy Crafting!

{St. Patty’s Day Freebie}

I haven’t been able to work on printables for the shop lately aside from the custom orders. I’ve been thinking about what I can do to keep this little blog going. I seem to have trouble coming up with content. Once I get my my stock of printables built up, I might try to stage some parties to share.

I am slowly switching over the physical items I previously sold over at {embellish*ology} to printables so if you are a scrapbooker, there will be embellishments you can print yourself! How cool is that?!

Starting this month, I am going to have one freebie each month. They will all be printable freebies and will somehow represent the month whether it be a holiday or season. With this monthly freebie, I’m hoping to share with you, my lovely readers, what I can do shall you decide that you would like to order a custom design.

Since this month is for the Luck of the Irish, the freebie is this fun St. Patrick’s Day photo prop set. If you decide to use this, please share your pictures! Who knows, you might even become famous by being on the blog (with permission, of course)!

St-Pattys-Freebie

Download the freebie HERE. To assemble, print, cut and tape/glue onto skewers or popsicle sticks.

Have fun and don’t forget to send me your pics!

{A Custom Order!}

I finished yet another custom order this week. I love working on customs. They really get my creative brain going.
This order is a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme for a set of boy/girl twins. The request was for it to be a little more fancy than cutesy so this is what I came up with.
MMCH-Web-Image
I love how Mickey & Minnie kind of  represent the twins since they are boy/girl twins. And of course, you have to have the MMCH sayings like, “Hot Dog, Hot Diggity Dog!” and “Oh Toodles?” (in which I did a play on words and spelled it with the word ‘Two’ in it).
I currently still have some availability for custom orders so if you have a party or event coming up and you would like to have some printables designed, just let me know!

{Chevron & Polka Dots}

Howdy! Can I ask a favor? If you’re still reading this blog, can you leave me a comment? All you have to do is say ‘Hi'!’ I’m only asking this because I have been debating on whether or not to combine my blogs or if I should keep them separate.

I’ve finally started adding more printables to the shop. I did a custom for a good friend of mine and I liked it so much I thought I’d put it in the shop. It’s a good neutral theme of Aqua, Red, Chevron and Polka Dots that can be used for any type of event/party. Each component is currently listed separately. I can also add/design any components you would need for your party/event.

The banner can be changed to wording of your choice (not to exceed 15 characters).

Text can be added to the Food Labels/Place Cards for a small additional fee.

I’m constantly trying to work on new things and hope to eventually add some of the embellishments I previously sold in digital format.

{Monster Mash}

I’ve had some design orders come in the last couple of days and I’m very excited about them and can’t wait to get started on them! Before I received these orders I had been working on putting together a party pack using the Little Monsters that I had in my Etsy shop before. I had several requests for them and am just now getting around to finishing these printables. I am sooo happy with the way it is turning out! I hope some boy moms out there will like them too!

Monster-Sneak-Peek

I’m still taking orders/requests so if you are interested, you can email me or contact me via convo through Etsy.

Thanks for stopping by!
